It might to be worth waiting a bit and bniuyg the Asus Transformer Prime. Without the dock it will be around $ 500, and you will be able to buy it separately later on for about $ 150.It will also be a whole lot faster then today’s cream of the crop, the soon-to-be-released Galaxy Tab 7.7. Most other tablets use dual core, 1GHz Cortex A9 CPUs, maybe with a bit higher clock, usually Tegra 2 chip. Transformer Prime will come with Tegra 3 a quad core 1.3GHz CPU (maybe a bit higher clock speed) and way more powerful graphics (although, still not as powerful as the iPad). It will also be as thin and light as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the iPad, and it will be made of metal. It will also come with MicroSD and MicroHDMI (USB will only be present on the dock, as with the current model). If all these alsos didn’t convince you to wait a bit, there is a current Transformer, which can be bought with a dick for around $ 500, although it not be nearly as high-class as the Tab and iPad. There is the Lenovo ThinkPad tablet, but it owes it’s high price tag to the way it’s oriented to the businessmen and it’s pen capabilities. All the other 10 tablets I can remember right now are cheaper. The bad thing with waiting the Transformer Prime is, if you wait a bit longer, you will be able to buy a bit more powerful tablets with 2GB of ram. And then, you could wait for something else The good thing is, it’s coming as soon as (it seems) December 8th
